Ictus
The word Ictus is derived from musical terminology to describe the “instant a beat occurs”. The resonance of sound/ music/ note then, is produced from that instant. In all my projects, whether they include photography, film, or theater, I see the artwork as a “jumping off point”: the resonance to come after, through its impact on individual viewers or audience. Each manifestation of projects under the Ictusheading seek to catalyze action, or incite the viewer, and illicit a response.
