The (New) Reading Series at 21 Grand hosts readings by innovative writers at Oakland’s 21 Grand Gallery on the third Sunday of each month. Begun in 2002, (New) is both a venue for a range of literary avant-gardes and a vibrant social space for the local writing community. The series was featured in the San Francisco’s Bay Guardian’s Best of the Bay 2009.
