Twice Around the Block: A Photo Scavenger Hunt – An interactive photo event led by Intersection’s Young Artists Advisory Council, in collaboration with 2 Blocks of Art

When: Friday September 28 and Friday October 19, 4–8pm

Where: Meet at the newspaper Kiosk in front of the Old Mint

Cost: FREE

Tomorrow’s Twice Around The Block event from our Young Artists Advisory Council (YAAC) will give teams playing the chance to win art donated by two YAAC members! The art created is linked to and created as a response to the current (re)collection exhibition now showing in our gallery space.

Larisa Minerva is an interdisciplinary artist and writer who investigates the entanglement of the human psyche in the ever growing accumulation of history and waste as we wander blindly into the future.

Erica Deeman is a UK born photographer, residing and studying in San Francisco for a BFA in Photography. Her primary passion is the exploration of humanity, culture and environment through types and themes.

Here’s a sneak peak at some of the prizes on offer. They will also be displayed at the Kiosk in front of the Old Mint at 5th and Mission.
