COMMUNITY RENTALS PROGRAM
Intersection’s home spaces at 5M are resources that we share with our community through a variety of rental options. Located at 925 Mission Street near the corner of 5th Street (1 block from the Powell St. BART/Muni stop), Intersection’s facilities are re-purposed space in the historic San Francisco Chronicle building. They include the flexible Suite 109 and the Intersection Underground.
SUITE 109– Formerly the Circulation Department of the Chronicle, Suite 109 is located on the ground floor, this large, flexible space is available for performances, parties, receptions, rehearsals, meetings and workshops. The 4000 sq. ft. space contains theatrical lighting and a sound system. Capacity depends on configuration.
Past clients include: Columbia University School of Journalism, Hearst Communications, IDEO, Unreasonable Institute, HUB Ventures, Gladstone Institute, Killing My Lobster, Theatre Bay Area, NuReality Productions, Luminary Lab, Center for the Art of Translation, Bay Area Acting Studio, Party Corps, The Jewish Community Center, Oberlin College, World Savvy and St. James Infirmary
INTERSECTION UNDERGROUND- Located in the former Golden Gate Conference Room of the Chronicle on the lower level, this 34′ x 39′ space has 8′ ceilings and is ideal for rehearsals, auditions, meetings, workshops and classes.
