The Language of Anxiety

Wed, Sep 9, 2009 - Sat, Sep 19, 2009 | 6pm - 9pm | Free

The Language of Anxiety examines environmental and personal tension by exploring how we define and react to rising personal and social anxieties, serving as a timely response to our uncertain world. This exhibition was organized by current and former Arts Leadership Training Program participants and includes their paintings, sculptures, installations, and writing. In addition, the show will present work created by middle school students from Seven Tepees Youth Program who participated in a corresponding series of workshops.

*The Intersection Leadership Training Program is a year-round, highly regarded internship program with competitive enrollment. The program aims to address the needs of emerging artists and arts leaders by providing opportunities in career building, professional development and hands-on experience.
