• We believe that when artists gather, learn, and dream together, they create the innovation, connection, and collective power that can change everything.

Our 6-4-6 Vision

Six Strategies & Initiatives for Six Years (2026- 2032)

1. Expand Fiscal Sponsorship Options -We will expand the fiscal sponsorship model choices for artists to allow more access to financial resources. We envision supporting 250 Bay Area arts projects and organizations.
2. Offer More Artist Empowerment Program (AEP) Opportunities – We will offer year-long professional development and community building activities, including cohort learning, monthly workshops, coaching and consulting office hours, and a community conversations series (INTERconnected).
3. Pay More Artists to attend AEP – We will expand our “earn to learn” model outside of our fiscal sponsorship members to include community artist members.
4. Re-envision and Deepen our Artist in Residence Program (AIR) – We will provide more resources and support to Artists in Residence through access to space, programming capital, and opportunities, along with coaching, mentoring, and community learning.
5. Create a Comprehensive BIPOC Arts Leadership Incubator (BALI) – We will create a leadership and incubation program that provides administrative and financial infrastructure, financial management and leadership training, program and professional development to some of our most vulnerable and under-supported arts leaders.
6. Support Intersection Artists & Leaders – Intersection staff  comprises artists and arts leaders. We will support their work and wellness by providing sustainable wages, next-generation arts leadership development and healthy, vibrant organizational culture.
