Who we are

Intersection for the Arts is a bedrock Bay Area arts nonprofit that’s dedicated to helping artists grow. Our staff provides people with useful resources to realize creative and cultural projects. We’re a passionate team of artists helping artists.

We can't wait for our members @gold.beams upcoming Second Mondays, a multi-disciplinary open mic for Black people to share and enjoy incredible art. The stage welcomes comedy, poetry, singing, rapping, instrumentalists, and more!Join them at the The Crucible (1260 7th St, Oakland) on Monday, March 11, 6 pm. Tickets begin at $15. All ages are welcome! Gold Beam's open mics are are made for Black creatives of ALL disciplines. Be sure to there early to sign up as the event begins right at 6 pm. Calling Bay Area Artists! Vital Arts Org has announced their Artist Displacement Prevention Grant is now open to applications!Artists facing displacement in San Francisco, Alameda, and Contra Costa counties are eligible. Vital Arts will distribute six grants during the first round of 2024. $2,500 will be awarded based on financial necessity and will prioritize artists facing imminent housing challenges.Gaia WXYZ is Vital Arts' first artist juror for 2024.
