Allison Snopek’s Departure from IFTA

Jan 1, 2024

At a time of organizational strength and stability at Intersection for the Arts, we announce a transition within Intersection’s shared leadership team. Our Executive Co-Director of Programs & Grants Management, Allison Snopek, is departing the organization to pursue a career in her home city of Portland, Oregon. After serving Intersection remotely for over 2.5 years and working with Intersection for 4.5 years overall, Allison is ready to shift focus to her local community in Portland. We welcome Yesenia Sanchez, Intersection’s Interim Executive Co-Director. Yesenia is no stranger to the organization, having worked with Intersection in various leadership capacities since 2008. Yesenia will work closely with Executive Co-Director Scott Nielsen in the coming months to deepen Intersection’s impact and accomplish the organization’s goals. Intersection for the Arts respectfully acknowledges that we are based in Yelamu: the traditional, unceded lands of the Ohlone people. We pay our respects to elders both past and present.
