Arts Community Support Circles: Wednesdays in May with Amy Kweskin

Virtual support circles for artists, arts administrators and cultural workers who are stymied in their work and need a path forward during this pandemic. At this difficult and ambiguous time, find connection in a safe, confidential and supportive “virtual” circle. We will use coaching tools to identify a practical and accomplishable goal, assess the current reality to identify your strengths, explore options for moving forward and plan realistic steps for action. Zoom link and other materials provided upon registration.

“Powerful conversation with interesting artists.”

“This might’ve been the best hour and a half I’ve spent in years to talk and think about my art.”

“Everyone seemed to balance their need for support and my need to be supported.”

“People were visibly engaging when I was speaking (nodding, etc) and they were responding and building upon what I said. It was a very safe feeling space, open and inviting.”

We had such a great response to our April series that we have decided to extend these sessions into May! Sessions occur on all 4 Wednesdays in May (11am-12:30pm PST) with room for up to 12 participants guided by a skilled facilitator. Sign up for all 4 sessions if you’re looking for ongoing support or drop-in for one.

This series is facilitated by Amy Kweskin, Director of Professional Development at Intersection for the Arts and founder of Artsightful. She has over 20 years of arts management experience working with individuals, groups and organizations. As a coach, consultant and professor Amy guides clients in the use of practical tools that can be adapted to any situation.
