Cryptocurrency for Artists
Join us to learn the basics of cryptocurrency and to understand key aspects around the new economic system.
Inga Bard, workshop presenter describes this session’s content: “Cryptocurrency first launched in 2009 and is here to stay. It is a new form of accounting designed, through the use of cryptography, to be very hard to cheat. Crypto transactions are the future of digital currency and people around the world already use them to pay for things on the internet, including art.
The Crypto Renaissance has emerged to the public eye through headlines around NFT’s but it also includes artists of all mediums, far beyond digital art.
