Grant Writing for the Arts

A virtual grant writing workshop for artists with a focus on California Arts Council’s Individual Artist Fellowship.

Learn the basics of writing a compelling grant proposal in a 2.5-hour, interactive workshop tailored to the needs of artists and arts organizations. We’ll use the California Arts Council’s Individual Artist Fellowship Guidelines and Application as our example when we discuss: how to interpret grant guidelines, create compelling narratives and budgets, and provide work samples that wow.

Open to all grant writing skill levels. Zoom link provided upon registration. This workshop is facilitated by Intersection for the Arts’ new Grant Specialist, Krista Smith, an artist and strategic planning and development consultant passionate about nurturing an economically strong and equitable arts community.

REFUND POLICY: You may request a full refund (excluding Eventbrite fees) before the start of the program on the day of the workshop, after which point no refund can be processed.
