Grant Writing for the Arts Workshop
A virtual grant writing workshop for artists, arts administrators, and cultural workers with a focus on Zellerbach Family Foundation Community Arts Project Grant.
Learn the basics of writing a compelling grant proposal in a 2.5-hour, interactive workshop tailored to the needs of artists and arts organizations. We’ll use the 2020 Zellerbach Family Foundation’s Community Arts Project Guidelines and Application as our example when we discuss: how to interpret grant guidelines, create compelling narratives and budgets, and provide work samples that wow. Those interested in applying for a Zellerbach Family Foundation’s Community Arts project grant can get an early start in thinking about and working on your first or next proposal.
Open to all grant writing skill levels. Zoom link provided upon registration. This workshop is facilitated by Intersection for the Arts’ new Grant Specialist, Krista Smith, an artist and strategic planning and development consultant passionate about nurturing an economically strong and equitable arts community.
