
Individual Donor Development: Values Based Fundraising
Securing Individual donations is one of the many strategies to consider when raising the financial resources needed to fund your arts organization or arts projects. From crowdfunding to individual fundraising campaigns, from Patreon to fundraising events, and the power of peer-to-peer, there are many paths that you can take to secure individual donations.
This 90 minute workshop will share best practices and ideas for how you can secure more individual donations using a community-based approach that matches your values.
Participants will leave this workshop understanding:
- the most common and successful individual donor fundraising strategies
- best practices when coordinating an individual giving campaign
- things to consider when creating individual donor campaigns to ensure that your campaign matches you and/or your organization’s values and mission

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Krista brings over 22 years of experience as an artist, planning consultant, grant writer, administrator, and arts advocate to the San Francisco Bay Area’s arts and culture landscape. In addition to grant writing, Krista has also led strategic planning processes for Queer Rebels Productions, Foglifter Press, Still Here San Francisco, NAKA Dance Theater and 3Girls Theatre, and serves as a speaker and workshop facilitator with a focus on grant writing, arts fundraising, program and organizational development, and cultural equity.
