Learn theories and best practices surrounding digital strategy for the arts in this 2-hour interactive webinar tailored to artists, collectives, arts administrations, and cultural workers interested in learning how to better leverage digital platforms in their careers. Participants will walk away with a clearer understanding of ways in which they can deepen and expand audience engagement online as it relates to their personal work or organization before, during, and after a performance, show, sale, or exhibition.

This workshop is facilitated by Intersection for the Arts’ new Virtual Programming Specialist, Marie Szalkiewicz, a visual artist and arts administrator passionate about working with both upcoming and established individuals and organizations to create a thriving, accessible, and equitable arts community. Marie received Bachelor Degrees in both Art History and Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her Masters Degree in Arts Administration from Columbia University. Marie has previously worked in media relations with the renowned arts-focused public relations agency FITZ & CO, which is known for their strong relationship with Art Basel and other global arts institutions.
