San Francisco Zine Fest 2023

The 22nd annual SF Zine Fest was held at City View at Metreon, 135 4th St #4000, San Francisco, CA 94103. Founded in 2001, San Francisco Zine Fest seeks to advance the do-it-yourself ethos by fostering community throughout the Bay Area. In their annual festival and its accompanying panels and workshops, they celebrate and support independent writers, artists, and creators, allowing them to share their work with an ever-growing audience in exhibitions and public events.

Features: ADA accessible, large enough for COVID-safer spacing of exhibitor tables, patio access, ventilated with doorways to the outdoors, air-conditioned.
Masks REQUIRED for all guests and exhibitors.

 A panel of artists discussing their journeys into zines and beyond
 A talk with the Guest of Honor, Maia Kobabe
Button craft with SF Public Library; read from hundreds of zines in the SFZF Zine Library; and make zines at our zine workshop
240 rad exhibitors who make / sell / trade zines
