WRITERS IN SALESFORCE PARK: Write Like You’re In Prison

Presented by Yardtime Literary Program. Hosted by Kent Zimmerman and Alan Black.

Yardtime Literary Program conducts weekly creative writing classes inside California State Women’s prisons to help inmates find their voices. For the first time in our 16-year history, we’re conducting a class outside prison walls, with the same supplies that we use inside. Bring nothing but your life experiences as we conduct an “in-class” assignment that you’ll write, read, and discuss.

Writers in Salesforce Park is a series of events that invite people to interact with the literary arts and local writers through readings and workshops presented by Intersection for the Arts artist members.

Don’t miss all six events at the Main Plaza of Salesforce Park every Tuesday, September 17 – October 22, 5:30-6:30pm.

*Elevators closest to the Main Plaza of the rooftop park are located between Minna and Natoma Streets, at both Fremont Street and First Street.*
