CCA Sparks
A former program with California College of the Arts open to undergraduate and graduate students.A Partnership with California College of the Arts (CCA) Offered in 2020 and 2021
CCA Sparks was a program for undergraduate and graduate students at California College of the Arts (CCA), launched in the Spring of 2020, designed to support the creation of new business ventures and foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship at CCA. Presented by CCA’s Career Development Office in partnership with Intersection for the Arts, the program provided participants with professional development, mentorship, and coaching. Through experiential learning, students build skills, developed relationships, secured mentorship, competed for cash prizes, and left prepared to pursue additional outside investment for their business ideas.
Are your students interested in building a career in the arts? Have an idea for a creative business venture? Need to figure out what it takes to get started and to be sustainable?
Talk to Intersection about arranging a graduate or undergraduate course, program or guest speaker visit to learn directly from professional artists and arts managers working in dance, studio art, theatre, music, writing, and across disciplines.
