What Now consists of 4 sessions:

Meet the cohort and enjoy a creative dinner by artist and chef Lexa Walsh.
Session 2 - Conquering Your Complex Life: Guerilla Self Care
How do you prioritize self-care? Create a self-care practice to balance demands, minimize stress and increase effectiveness guided by actor and entrepreneur Kehinde Koyejo.
Session 3 - Funding Resources for Artists
Engage in an exploration of how to support yourself and fund your art practice with artist and grantwriting consultant Kevin Seaman.
Session 4 - Building Your Network: Art of the Hustle
Art is a business of connections. Craft your elevator pitch and build your networking muscles with business coach Anthem Salgado.

Overview
You’ve done it! Congratulations on earning an art degree. So, what now?
Intersection for the Art’s program, What Now, helps you evolve from school-life to artist-life. Free and open to folks graduating from graduate or undergraduate art school in 2019, What Now brings recent graduates together to develop a community of support, practice self-care for life-work-art balance, identify sources of funding, and build a professional network. The What Now program is created with funds from The Sam Mazza Foundation.

Who can apply?
Graduating students in the Bay Area who’re working in any of the following disciplines: art education, community arts, curatorial arts, dance, design, fashion, film, literary arts, music, theater, and visual arts.
Location
All sessions are held at Intersection for the Arts, 1446 Market Street, San Francisco, 94102
